Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Longlove, the page builder at longlove.app. By building or publishing a page you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be scrolled past.

1. Who you are dealing with

Longlove is run by a sole trader registered in Latvia, European Union ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@longlove.app. Payments are collected by our payment processor acting as merchant of record; your receipt will show their name alongside ours.

2. What the service is

Longlove lets you build a personal web page for someone you love, preview it, and publish it at a link you can share. You can build without an account. When you publish, we email you an edit link that acts as your key to the page; keep it private, since anyone with it can edit or delete the page.

3. Your content

You own everything you put on a page. You give us permission to store it and show it to people who open the link, which is the only thing we need it for. You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload, including photos of other people. You must not put on a page:

anything illegal in Latvia or in the country you or the recipient live in;
sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor;
content that harasses, threatens, doxxes or humiliates someone, including the recipient;
other people's private information, such as a chat export that includes third parties, without their consent;
malware, phishing links, or anything designed to trick the person opening the page.

We can remove a page that breaks these rules, and we will not refund it. If someone reports a page about them, we will contact you and may take it down while we look.

4. The recipient

You choose who to send the link to. The recipient does not need an account. If they reply, the reply is sent to you and stored with the page. Do not use Longlove to contact someone who has asked you not to.

5. Prices and payment

Building and previewing is free. Publishing a page costs $19.99, paid once for that page. An optional portrait pack costs $4.99 for 6 additional AI portrait generations on the same page. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices are in US dollars; your local currency and any applicable VAT or sales tax are shown at checkout and handled by the merchant of record. Promotional discounts, such as the returning-customer coupon, apply only to the page they are used on.

A published page includes, for that page:

a permanent link and a custom link of your choice, subject to availability and our reserved-word list;
removal of the preview watermark;
optional password protection and scheduled unlock;
email notifications when the page is opened and when the recipient replies;
the chat insights block and 4 AI portrait generations;
the ability to edit the page for as long as it exists.

6. Previews

A preview link shows your full page with a small watermark and stops working 24 hours after it was created. Unpublished drafts and their uploads are deleted 30 days after creation. We email you before that happens if we have your address.

7. Refunds and your right to withdraw

Because a published page is delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that the service starts right away and that the 14-day EU right of withdrawal does not apply once the page is live. Separately from that, we offer our own guarantee: if the page was never opened and you ask within 7 days of paying, we refund you in full. The details are in the refund policy.

8. Keeping pages up

We intend to keep published pages online indefinitely and we do not charge to keep them up. We cannot promise the internet will last forever. If we ever have to shut Longlove down, we will email every address with a published page at least 90 days in advance and give you a way to download your page content.

9. AI features

Text suggestions and portraits are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, odd, or not what you meant, and you should read or look at them before publishing. Portraits are made from a photo you upload; you must have the right to use that photo, and we will refuse to generate portraits from photos that appear to show minors, or that are sexual or violent. Generation credits are tied to the page they were bought for and do not expire.

10. Acceptable use of the service

Do not try to break, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer Longlove, guess other people's page links, or use the reply feature to send spam. We may block accounts or addresses that do.

11. Liability

We provide Longlove with care but "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with a page is limited to the amount you paid for that page. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country, and you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. We would much rather sort things out by email first: hello@longlove.app.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes that affect pages you have already paid for will be emailed to you before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
